Japanese eco-tour aimed at promoting rural renewable energy |
| 22 Japanese tourists toured around some villages and scenic spots in Aning city, Shilin Jainshui and Yunyang counties from 29 March through 2 April in Yunnan, China. In Jianshui County, the tour members attended to the presentations about Yunnan Rural Renewable Energy Promoting Project. Accompanied by YEN project officers and relevant local government department officers they viewed biogas fa- cilities of the villagers in Fuqiao village, Miandian Township. The visitors also gave acrobatics performance as well as participatory class to students and school fa- culties on environmental protection in Xiaoxinzhai School. “This was an unfor- gettable event ever happened in our village.” said a villager.
