18 May 2007: GO & NGOs dialogue |
| On 18 May, Yunnan Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau (EPB) and Provincial Construction Bureau held a "GO and NGO Information Sharing"meeting in Kunming. Senior government officers introduced the efforts relevant government departments made on the environmental governance and biodiversity conservation. Mr. Gao, Deputy Director of EPB highly appraised local NGOs’ dedications in the past years. He emphasized that the GO has the same goal as NGOs does.
