03/23/08: Union of Volunteers (YUV) is on the track |
| On March 15-23 The ProComm meeting for the establishment of YUV was held in YEN office. Participants are responsible persons representing 13 student organizations in Kunming. According to the agenda, the proposed constitution of the union was ratified. In the following process, the board of directors of the union was formed. Mr. Chen Yongsong, Director of Yunnan EcoNetwork (YEN) was elected chairman of the union. Then, each representative of the organizations signed the agreement as a member of the union. Apart from that, they each became individual member of the union. Participants also sign the declaration of the union, which calls for more organizations and individuals to unite together, strive for a better world.
