| Lauren Vunderink is a student from Connecticut College '15 in the U.S.. She is a SIT Kunming student doing research for her ISP on clean energy in China. She visited Green Education Center (GEC) yesterday and had a tour of Chinese rural household biogas. She wrote after her visit. "While I was in Lijiang studying clean energy, I had the good fortune of meeting with Mr. Chen Yongsong at his Lijiang Green Education Center. Mr.Chen graciously answered my questions about biogas and energy issues in Lijiang, then gave me a tour of the facilities. The school exemplifies bioenergy’s practical applications, I would love to see it bustling with children. The GEC does important work around Yunnan, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn about biogas from Mr. Chen!".
