按照预定的计划，7月7日下午，“龙聚”的美国学生到丽江拉市乡海南村级完小开展支教活动。“龙聚”是一个文化和教育的美国项目，这个项目安排美国学生到许多国家，也包括中国学习体验。他们今天的活动是给海南完小的同学们起英文名字、画动物画、学唱美国歌曲。课后，丽江电视台采访了三个美国学生，他们说很高兴参加这个英文支教活动，认为中国学生很聪明、很努力。 教英语的外国中学生 Today teacher Liu and I brought the “Where There Be Dragons” students to a village primary school at the southern part of the lake. “Where there Be Dragons” is an cultural and education American program that brings American students to different countries, one being China. Today, the students taught an English class to fourth year and fifth Chinese year students. Activities included giving the Chinese students English names, drawing animals, and teaching the the American children’s song “Head and Shoulders.” After class, three Where There Be Dragons students were interviewed by Li Jiang local Television Station, and the high school students were eager to answer in Chinese. They explained that they enjoyed teaching English to the students, and that these Chinese students were very bright and hardworking. |
