This afternoon eleven high school students and from the U.S. and three teachers visited GEC. They’ve been in the Lashi area for three days and are here studying Chinese. Hannah Thrall (Connecticut), Godie Freymann (New York), Grace Arnold (California), Forrest deButts (D.C.), Carlisle Micallef (California), Ben Finkerstein (New York), Malcolm Snyder (Tennessee), Chris McManus (Connecticut), Ryder Gottlieb (New York), Miles Grossanbaucher (Texas), and Thomas Hatton (Texas) were among the students. All of them are rising seniors in high school. We gave them a tour of GEC and even let one of them cook an egg to demonstrate how biogas can be used! One of the students plans on majoring in International Business and wants to go to Georgetown University for college. They all had a lot of energy and were a lot of fun to talk to. William Wang, a GEC's intern, guided the tour
